I slept with my friend..who has a girlfriend..?
i have this friend..well, he’s one of my best friends.
and last night, his girlfriend was staying out for the night at her friends, so he said i could go stop at his to keep him company..watch some films etc.
so, i went..and we ended up having sex, it was my first time.. . .and now ..I feel so wrong.

on the way home this morning he asked if i wanted to meet him on monday to just go for a walk around or something, as its his day off work..and i said no, i don’t think i can see you again..and he basically said i was being selfish, by saying i dont want to speak to him again.

but its only because i feel so bad!, so.anyway.he walked me to the bus stop, and i’ve just got home..he texted me saying about how nice the night was and that he was tired etc..
and i didn’t text back.. so then he texted again saying "blanked xx"

i don’t know what to do he’s 28 and has a little boy, i’m 21..
he is going through a break up with his girlfriend, but that’s no justification for what we did.
i don’t want to text him back, because i don’t know where this is going..and i don’t know what to say too him.

Any advice? yes..no one needs to tell me i did a bad slutty thing, i know. and i deservedly feel like shit for it.

it was wrong what you done, but mistakes happen. if you really like this guy and if he breaks up with his girlfriend (as long as he doesn’t do it just for you) then give it a while and then see where it takes you.
you should reply to him and tell him exactly how you feel, even if he doesn’t understand your feelings at least you tried to explain and it should make you feel a little better.

you could always text him and say you really regret what happened and at the moment you are too embarrassed to see him. just ask him to give you a bit of space, maybe you’ll change your mind and want to be friends with him again. i don’t think personally you should just cut him out of your life though. is it really worth losing a friendship over? if you decide to be mates again you’ll have to make it clear that you won’t be having sex again.

I think you’re being too hard on yourself. Maybe sleeping with you was what he needed to realize that he really wants to be with you. And if that’s the case, then even if what you did wasn’t the nicest thing to do, it is ultimately for the best. This could be the beginning of a great relationship, and it is completely different from a situation where you’re the piece on the side.

But he needs to take action: either he needs to leave his girlfriend right away, or he needs to stop seeing you altogether. Because if he doesn’t, this is going to turn into a situation where you are the piece on the side.

And if he does end up leaving his girlfriend for you, don’t let your guilt ruin what could otherwise be a wonderful relationship with your best friend.

After you get a divorce is there such a thing as a second chance? Can this work?
Ok long story but I will make it as short as possible. There is a girl that I have liked for a long time and she has always liked me back. Well she got married about 3 years ago, got divorced about a year ago and we never were officially together but we did have some good nights together. Then she left for a while to be with another guy, that just got out of jail and treated her like shit, wouldn’t let her use the phone, and threatened her, and basically kidnapped her. So she finally gets tired and leaves and gets a restraining order but she also got pregnant. So then she goes home and after a few weeks we start talking again and I ask her if she has a dad for her baby picked out yet and she says she is going to work things out with her ex-husband. This is a really messed up story that I hate but it is true. In some ways I still hope me and her can work things out, do you think there is any chance for us? She has put everybody through hell worrying about her for months and I would have forgot about her a long time ago but she is just such an awesome girl and there is nobody else like her. I would think if it didnt work before with her ex it really won’t work now that she is pregnant with another guys baby. And in some ways I think she is only back with her ex is so she wont be alone in taking care of a kid and her ex is more financially capable of taking care of a family that I am right now. But we have been talking and hanging a little bit and she said that her ex is fine with that. Does it seem weird to anybody else that her ex ok with her hanging out with another guy that she has done things with in the past? I have became a good friend to her and her family(not her ex or any of his family) and they have told me she was happier than she has ever been when we were hanging out and they think she still has feelings for me.

So what do you think? Do we have a chance? Do they have a chance? I have loved her, hated her, and had every feeling in between for her. I have told her how I feel and we decided to be friends at least which I am fine with but it would make me happy if we ended up together. She does make me happier than I have ever been but she has screwed me over and her ex more than once, so I am not sure if I can trust her if we did try to work things out. Not exactly a fairytale love story but I could see things working out for us but I could also see it turning uglier than it already is. If we do get a chance to be together should I take it?

Hmm.. well I can tell you love her and care about her alot. I know that my wife broke up with me while we were dating only to come back and then get married only to bring up divorce a few months later after getting pregnant. I would advise you to take it slowly and maybe date other woman while your at it. Some woman, not all but most never do change and she might take advantage of you again. Why are there so many serial killers in Australia comparative to its rather small population?
Despite only comprising of 22 million, Australia has a similar number of serial killers to the likes of France, Germany, Japan, Russia etc.. (all have much larger populations). It is not that far behind the UK or US either. So why so many?

Can extreme boredom frequently lead to this sort of behaviour? i.e. Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney are all in New South Wales, so if you live in Western Australia, you may feel as though there is virtually nothing to do (in the middle of nowhere)?

There are more than likely many more serial killers than have been reported worldwide.
Australia with such a large land mass has a lot room for bodies to be disposed of and never found.
The lack of civilization in remote areas (law enforcement). The Aborigines have kept to themselves and there are numerous reports of rapes even with adolescents being the perpetrators. A high incidence of venereal disease among even young children bears this out.
Google Australia and read some newspapers from different areas of the country and you will see what I am talking about.

Australia is mostly desert, and lack of people mean those that are so inclined can go and murder people in deserted areas where no-one can ever find them. Serial killers must love that place!

It’s called the Chikatilo syndrome. (after Andrei Chikatilo, a Rusian serial killer) In many countries around the world law enforcement doesn’t look for links between murders as much, they have a harder time identifying serial killers’ signatures because they mostly believe that serial killers are an american phenomenon. Australia has had clear experiences with serial killers and learned from them.
In other words, it’s not that there are more serial killers in the US and Australia than other countries but that no one looks for serial killers as much and so they go undiscovered for decades, if discovered at all.

Con Air (1997) IMDB rating: 6.30 Plot: Cameron Poe is an Army Ranger who was going to go home to his pregnant wife when he got into a fight with three men. He would kill one of them and the other two ran away with the knife they had and because of that he would be convicted of manslaughter. After eight years he would be paroled. He would be part of a group that’s being transferred to another prison and flown in a special plane. While in flight a fight breaks out and two of the most dangerous criminals, Diamond Dog and Cyrus the Virus Grissom, would break out from their restraints and take over the plane. When the plane makes it’s first stop Poe and friend who’s a diabetic and who wasn’t given his shot, and all the syringes were destroyed, try to get off but Grissom wouldn’t let them. He then tries to alert the authorities but got away. My fiance wants to join the air force, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. What are the pros and cons?
He has been looking into doing this for awhile, but before he goes and talks to a recruiter I would love to hear more from people that have experience with he air force. I have read some of the forums online, but a lot of them are scary in saying how awful the military is to join. I would rather find out some more facts about it then peoples bias opinion against the military.

Its a great job, if both of you love the lifestyle and have good attitudes about life.

For me, it changed my life for the better. I was a mediocre student in high school, but graduated at the top of my college class. The benefits are irrefutable; GI Bill for college, room and board, travel… but those can’t be the reason you join.

He has to want to be in the Air Force. And you have to understand what being a military spouse means and want that. Its one of the toughest jobs in the world.

You will get to travel. Some places will be exciting and cool, and some places will be boring and too hot or too cold or too far away from your families. If you have a good attitude, you make friends, enjoy seeing a new place, and find hobbies and things to do, regardless. It will all be an adventure, even when the roof leaks.

You will have to deal with bad housing and good housing. Sometimes he will deploy for 6 months to a year. During that time, you will have to make the best of whatever his duty station is. Sometimes he will have to leave at short notice, or you will have to move at short notice. Sometimes he won’t be able to call.

He will get terrific training, hopefully in a career field he likes. He will get to be part of what I believe is one of the greatest organizations in the world. He will see things that some people never get to see in their entire lives.

Bottom line: you both need to know what you’re getting into, and this has to be what you want.

I have been an AF wife for over 8 years. I never comment on these things, but I cannot believe that the last person said that rape is a possiblity. That is completely absurd to even bring up in a forum like this. Rape is a possiblity no matter where you live or what your job is. You have no greater chance of being raped while your husband is in the AF as you do with any other job in any other area of the world. My husband joined while living in Indiana. He has been stationed in Louisiana, Korea, and now we are stationed in Italy. We have been exposed to a million different things with this lifestyle that we never would have gotten while working in Indiana. It has also been a good experience for our children to learn about the world around them and to meet many people. I enjoy knowing that my husband always has a paycheck coming and won’t get laid off in an instant. I also enjoy the medical benefits and the security of knowing that our family’s medical needs will be taken care of and paid for. Of course, with anything, there are pros and cons. We have lived through many deployments and TDY’s. These have included him having to be gone from anywhere to a few weeks to 6 months to one year. These times can be very hard on the spouse and the kids. However, for us it has made us stronger. It also can be hard sometimes living far away from family and not being able to just go home and visit whenever you want. Most people I know in the military make the best of deployments and many people will go back home while their husbands are gone. Another challenge that I have experienced is that everytime he has to PCS (move to another base), I also have to change jobs. It can be hard finding jobs in your career field at certain locations. We have done this for 8 years and so far the pros have outweighed the cons. Depending on the job he would choose, he will most likely work a regular 8 hour work day and be home either in the evenings or daytime (and work nights), So, if they aren’t deployed than it is kind of like a regular civilian job. Also, of all the services, it is my understanding and experience that the AF deploys less frequently and that the AF is more concerned about family needs than the other services. For us, it has been a good choice. I know the deployments sound scary and are usually the thing that gives people trying to decide whether to join, or not, the most concern. However, they are easier than you think and you do get used to them. Good luck with your decision.

It takes a special person to be a military spouse. There are a lot of times where you don’t know what is going on, where your spouse is, when they will be home, and a lot of time spent alone. There are a lot of great things about it, though. You get to test your love… a love from 4,000+ miles that is strong enough to survive that for long periods of time… that is undeniably the genuine article. There’s also the first kiss, the first date, the first woo-hoo that you get to experience time and time again, you know your man is making a difference in this world, and that he is someone to be very proud of. You learn to live for the 2 minute calls u get a few times a month, you love the mailman, especially when he brings letters…. I don’t know what all to say here, just trying to give the best advice I can. I’m new at this myself.

You learn to appreciate every moment you spend together, take a ton of photos, and yeah, it’s hard at first.. really freakin hard. That’s where the FRG and your other military spouse friends come in. They keep you sane! Trust me on this one! I’d be lost without them!
